"El vacío" (The void) was a cinematographic exercise. A language exploration based on the idea of loneliness and the repetition of routines.

We made this one minute film, six months before shooting Punta Cana. The location is my grandmother's apartment and the main (and only) actor is my uncle Gustavo Castro. The film was recorded with my Canon t4i and with Jackson Gómez as DOP.

Though my uncle is not an actor, he decided to help us in this. In some way, I wanted to portrait him.
