Lust4life
When going back to places where you've already been, you can find vestiges of those things that once existed inside you. Things that in the past shaped an imaginary that maybe doesn't exist anymore.
Watching those old versions of one in the present can feel like being in front of ancient ruins, but you should never forget that even those ruins were once strong columns that hold you in difficult times.

The videos and pictures of this personal project where taken from the game Red Dead Redemption 2, made by Rockstar.
I played the story mode of this vast game twice. The first one in a moment of my life where I was feeling alone and confused about my future. And the second one with a friend who made me enjoy it even more. In that time I did record some videos while playing and took some pictures, but didn't have anything in mind.
I came back to the game two years later, this time I just wanted to wander around the game's world. But the feeling was weird because it made me remember my old emotions, the sad and the happy ones.
And the more I moved through it, the more it made me remember. So I decided to record what I was feeling. -Yes, I did try to record what I was feeling in a video game-.
At the end of this travel that turned into a personal confronation, I understood the importance of self-acceptance, internal exploration, and love to one's past.
This serie of videos and pictures also end up working as a diary. It is called "Lust 4 life" for the Iggy Pop song with the same name, which is part of the soundtrack of the movie Trainspotting. A movie that made me love editing, and friendship, and music and rebellion.
A movie that I watched in a moment of my life where I was feeling confused, but also inloved with cinema.
